Nicholas Baudin Restaurant


We serve breakfast 7 – 9.30am during peak season (1st September – 30th April) & during Winter (1st May – 31st August) 7.30 – 9.00am, members of the public are also welcome! We are the perfect fueling stop before exploring Flinders Chase National Park!

Our Chef’s put out a delicious all-you-can-eat buffet, featuring locally produced bread, cereals – including house-made muesli, cold meats,  selection of pastries, fresh & poached fruit & yoghurt. We also have cooked items on our buffet including eggs, mushrooms, hash browns & tomatos. Juices, tea & coffee are also included.


Adult – $25.00

Child (aged 4-13) – $12.50

Infant (0-4 years old) – free of charge


During peak season we are open for lunch (check out our menu) between 12 – 3pm.

For large groups (10+) interested in lunch bookings we may be able to arrange a special lunch sitting, please contact Ryan via email

Picnic Lunch

For our guests who will be out exploring and require picnic lunch we offer the following;

Standard Lunch (Sandwich Baguette, Sweet/Pastry, Fruit, Water & Juice) – $22.00 per person

Bar & Snacks 

When lunch finishes at 3 pm our bar stays open for those looking to wet their throat with locals beers, wines & spirits! We also run our Snack Menu for those still looking for a quick bite to eat.


In our peak season (1st September – 30th April) we take dinner reservations from 5.30 – 8.30pm and in winter (1st May- 31st August ) 6 – 8pm

We serve an a-la-carte menu which underlines our commitment to utilize produce found in the local area, offering our diners a unique taste of Kangaroo Island delicacies.

We serve meals of all different sizes; entree, main & dessert including vegan, gluten & lactose-free options, as well as a kid’s menu.
